Rosé Pink 208, A Mid Pink With Warmth
Staedtler call colour 208 rosé pink, a warm mid pink, and this listing contains ten 371-208 pigment brush pens.
It is stronger than light rosé 21 but softer than magenta 20, which puts it in the useful middle: garden roses, blossom, flamingos, the flush on a cheek, the pink of a cake or a macaron. On wedding and baby stationery it gives colour without shouting, and it holds its own as a lettering colour on white card.
Paint a petal in 208, let it dry, and a second pass over the inner curve deepens it for shape. Staedtler also suggest gradients made while the ink is still wet, so 208 pulled into a stroke of light rosé 21 gives a smooth fade from mid to pale. Afterwards, fine line work in a pigment pen can go over the top without smearing.
