A Box Of Slim Mottle Files For Everyday Records
Marbig 63072M is the Half Arch A4 lever arch file in black mottle board with a reinforced spine, sold here as a box of 20.
The traditional mottle file is the plain workhorse of an office filing room. This Half Arch version is the slimmer build, listed by ACCO at 50mm and up to 200 sheets, which suits records that arrive in steady smaller batches and would rattle around in a full size file.
ACCO describe a locking mechanism, a Rado fitting for easy closure, a spine label and a finger hole on the spine for taking the file down, plus metal feet and a metal thumb hole. Their photos show a solid black strip along the spine and a lever arch mechanism with two arches inside.
Twenty at once keeps a records room consistent. Split each file with binder dividers, punch pages with a two hole punch, and move old years to archive boxes. The full size mottle files are in lever arch binders.
