Connoisseur 537957 is a black waiters friend, 110 x 24 mm when folded, that combines a corkscrew, a cap-lifting lever and a small fold-out blade for cutting foil, so floor staff can open wine or beer at the table with one tool.
Weatherdon call it a handy compact bottle opener. In their photo the steel corkscrew and hinged lever fold into the black body from one side and the foil blade from the other, so it closes flat for an apron pocket or a bar drawer.
Using it is the classic two-step lever action: cut the foil, wind in the corkscrew, set the lever on the bottle neck and lift the cork out. The notch in the lever doubles as a crown cap opener.
