Auto-rotating lead keeps a consistently sharp point as you write
The Uni Kuru Toga M5-450T is a 0.5mm mechanical pencil with Kuru Toga's auto-rotating lead mechanism, automatically turning the lead as you write to maintain an even, consistently sharp point throughout a writing session.
Standard mechanical pencils develop a flat edge on one side of the lead as you write, producing lines that vary in width. The Kuru Toga solves this with a patented ratchet mechanism that rotates the lead a small amount with each downstroke, keeping the point uniformly sharp. The result is a consistent, fine line throughout the entire lead — no variation in line width, no need to rotate the pencil manually. Popular for study, exams, and technical drawing. Blue barrel. Supplied in a box of 12.
