Twelve Damp Sponge Cups For Paper Work
Shiny 9S10 is a box of 12 sponge cups, each 80mm across, in assorted red, blue and green, distributed in Australia by Staedtler.
A sponge cup is a shallow plastic ring holding a flat sponge. Add a little water and it becomes a desk moistener for fingertips when counting or sorting sheets, for sealing envelope flaps, and for wetting gummed labels and stamps.
The cups come in a Shiny counter box printed SPONGE CUP, with artwork of an envelope and stamp, which makes the box handy for a shop counter or stationery cupboard. The catalogue gives the colours as red, blue and green and the diameter as 80mm. Staedtler sell them by the box of 12 only; the mix of colours in each box is not published.
Shiny are the maker and Staedtler the Australian distributor, which is why the cups carry the Staedtler code 9S10.
