Twenty Four Acrylic Colours In 12 ml Tubes
Staedtler 8500 C24 is a cardboard box of 24 acrylic paints in assorted colours, each in a 12 ml (0.4 fl oz) tube, 288 ml in all.
Staedtler describe the 8500 paints as highly pigmented with brilliant colours, easy to blend and mix, and smooth in consistency, and pitch them at both fine art and craft work. That makes the box a practical all-rounder: canvas boards and paper for students, painted rocks and signs, wooden craft blanks, and card or papier mache for school projects.
The 24 colours run from white and pale yellows through oranges, reds and purples to blues, greens, earth browns, grey and black, as shown on Staedtler's colour chart, so most mixes start from a tube that is already close. Small tubes suit a classroom or a beginner who wants range without buying large bottles.
Staedtler note that brushes clean up easily with water. Wash them before the paint dries on the bristles.
