A Warm Light Brown For Furry Friends
FIMO kids 8030-71 is a 42 g block of light brown oven-bake clay from Staedtler, a soft caramel tone sitting between pale pink 43 and brown 7 in the FIMO kids chart.
Light brown is the go-to colour for animals with fur and for anything that should look baked or wooden: teddy bears, puppies, horses, hedgehogs, gingerbread figures, bread rolls for a play bakery, fences and tree stumps. Paired with darker brown 8030-7 it gives a two-tone coat; with white it makes a cream.
Each block comes divided into 8 pieces and the clay is very soft, so children can roll it thin for ears and paws. Staedtler suggest it for ages 8 and over. The finished model is baked for 30 minutes at 110°C.
Find brown 8030-7 and more in FIMO or the modelling clay range, and see Staedtler for the rest of the brand.
