Staedtler 488 64-3 is a 30 ml blue refill station that puts fresh ink back into a blue Textsurfer classic 364 highlighter.
Blue tends to be the second colour on a page after yellow: definitions, names, references, anything you will want to find again later. When a blue Textsurfer classic starts to run pale, it goes back into this pot rather than into the bin. The diagram printed on the card shows the pen pushed tip first into the pot and left there for a minimum of 3 hours.
The station is PP, and Staedtler say it is impossible to overfill the highlighter, so a pen can sit in it unattended. Their 2024 catalogue lists the 488 64 for the Textsurfer classic and the classic rainbow colours, good for as many as 7 refills of each pen, tip condition allowing. Made in Germany, according to Staedtler.
