Staedtler 488 50-3 is a 30 ml pot of blue ink for recharging the Lumocolor permanent marker 350 with chisel tip and 352 with bullet tip.
Blue permanent markers get used for a second colour on cartons, stock bins and plastic or metal parts, where the mark needs to survive handling. Staedtler describe the 350 and 352 as smudge-proof and waterproof on most surfaces and quick drying. Keep this pot with the markers and a fading blue can be brought back in place.
Insert the marker tip and leave it. Staedtler say it can be used again after a few minutes, with a full refill in 3 to 4 hours, and that the marker cannot overfill. Up to 7 refills per marker are possible according to their catalogue, depending on tip condition. Refill colours are red, blue, green and black.
