Blue Textsurfer Classic Neon Highlighters
Staedtler Textsurfer classic 364-3 is the blue neon chisel-tip highlighter, sold here as a box of 10.
Blue is a clear second or third colour after yellow and pink, often used for definitions, names or items that need a reply. The ultra-soft chisel tip gives a line of approx. 1 to 5 mm, and the large ink reservoir is made for extra-long highlighting, according to Staedtler.
Under Staedtler's INK-JET SAFE classification the neon Textsurfer classic leaves inkjet printouts and handwritten text unsmudged, and it is listed for paper, fax and carbon copies. Their Australian catalogue describes lightfast pigment ink that is fast-drying and washes out of most textiles. A twist cap, locked tip and airplane-safe pressure equalisation complete it, and Staedtler state it is made in Germany.
Blue can be topped up from the Staedtler 488 64-3 refill pot, which Staedtler say refills up to 7 times depending on the tip. Note that Staedtler name violet and turquoise, not blue, as the copy proof colours.
