Aqua Blue Triplus Fineliners By The Box
Staedtler 334-34 is the triplus fineliner in aqua blue, a 0.3 mm triangular fineliner sold here as a box of 10.
Aqua blue is a light, bright blue that works for sky and water in colouring, for a calm accent colour in planners, and for colour coding notes where a dark blue would be too close to black ink. Teachers and students also use it for annotations that stand apart from the main text.
The triplus has a triangular barrel, which Staedtler say makes writing relaxed and easy, and a superfine metal-clad tip; the line is roughly 0.3 mm wide. Its water-based ink carries Staedtler's DRY SAFE label, which Staedtler give to pens that tolerate long spells open on a desk. The ink washes out of most textiles, the PP barrel is made for long service, and pressure equalisation stops leaks when flying. Staedtler also intend it to Mix and Match with their triplus 323 fibre-tip pen.
Staedtler have updated the barrel to a dark speckled finish; some of our photos show the earlier silver-grey barrel. The article number is the same.
