Neon Blue That Jumps Off The Page, With One Care Note
Staedtler 334-301 puts the triplus fineliner into neon blue, a vivid bright blue, and each box on this listing contains 10 of them.
Neon shades are for moments when a line has to be noticed: a heading on a school poster, a key formula in revision notes, a box around the one task that cannot slip, or a bright outline in a doodle or comic panel. Neon blue is cooler and lighter than Staedtler's standard blue 3, and it sits with neon yellow, pink, orange, green and red in the triplus neon family.
There is one difference from most of the range. Staedtler describe triplus ink as DRY SAFE, able to stay uncapped for days, but they make an exception for neon colours. Put the cap back on neon blue between uses and it will last far longer.
Otherwise it is the standard 334: a three-sided PP barrel for relaxed handwriting, a superfine metal-clad tip, an approx. 0.3 mm line and water-based ink, which Staedtler say can be washed out of most textiles. Staedtler list Germany as where neon blue, like the rest of the 334 range, is produced.
