Four Broad Permanent Pens In A Stand-Up Wallet
Staedtler 314 WP4 is a wallet of four Lumocolor permanent pens with the broad B tip, in red, blue, green and black.
Four core colours cover most colour-coding jobs: black for general labels, red for warnings and corrections, blue and green for categories. Each pen writes a line of approx. 1.0 to 2.5 mm, bolder than the fine Lumocolor pens yet still slim enough for detailed labels on cable, tubes and small containers.
Staedtler class the 314 as a universal pen: it writes on almost anything and is fine on overhead projector film too. Its low-odour permanent ink stands up to smudging and water on most materials, is dry within seconds and gives strong, brilliant colour. Of the four, black is the one Staedtler rate as lightfast.
The clear wallet opens into a stand, so the pens stay upright on a desk or bench. Each pen has DRY SAFE ink, a locked tip and a PP barrel, and can be refilled from the 487 17 pot. Staedtler state they are made in Germany.
