The Full 241 Range In One Box
Staedtler 241 NC25 is the largest set in the 241 oil pastel range: 25 assorted round crayons, matching the 25 brilliant colours Staedtler make in this line.
Beyond the basics you get the tints and in-between shades that make blending easier: light yellow, light orange, peach, magenta, lavender, cobalt blue, sea green and more, alongside the earth tones of golden ochre, rose wood and van dyke brown. Fewer colours have to be mixed on the page, which keeps oil pastel work cleaner.
Staedtler describe the 241 as brilliant and colour-intensive, waterproof and especially break-resistant. Each round crayon is approximately 8 mm in diameter. They suit colouring and the scraping technique, and can be used on almost all smooth surfaces.
For senior primary and secondary art rooms, or an adult picking up oil pastels as a hobby, this set gives the whole palette without buying singles.
