Softest Tradition Grade, Boxed For Classes
Staedtler tradition 110-6B comes as a box of 12 of the softest pencil in the tradition range, a sensible size for art rooms and anyone who sketches daily.
Of the twelve tradition degrees, 6B gives the blackest, heaviest line. It glides across cartridge paper, fills large dark areas quickly and responds well to smudging and lifting with an eraser. Students working through tonal scales usually need it at the dark end, and it wears faster than any other grade in the set.
Staedtler call the tradition unbelievably break-resistant, crediting its special lead formulation and the super-bonding of the lead, and say it has a velvet soft surface with a smooth gliding lead. The red and black barrels carry STAEDTLER tradition 6B in gold; Staedtler state the range is made in Germany.
