Staedtler describe the 108 20 as giving opaque drawing and writing on almost all surfaces, even dark or transparent ones.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is a wood-cased pencil with a waterproof core, so marks survive a wet workshop bench or a rinse. Staedtler add that it is not water soluble: to take a mark off, wipe it with a cloth dampened with methylated spirits.
