The Stabilo CarbOthello chalk-pastel coloured pencil in Light Ochre delivers a charcoal-like feel with highly pigmented colour that blends, smudges, and works beautifully on dark backgrounds and specialist papers. With a 4.4 mm diameter lead and excellent light-fastness, it suits both students and practising artists who demand consistent, luminous results.
Partially aquarellable, the pigment can be activated with a brush and water while keeping contours visible. Use dry for soft blending with fingertips or a blending stump, or apply wet for watercolour-style washes. Available across a range of 60 colour shades, and compatible with a fixative for a lasting finish.
