Splash Education SP4427 is an A4 story book whose pages are plain across the top third and ruled at 12mm with a red margin across the lower two thirds, with 48 pages of 60gsm paper under a board cover, packed 20 to our listing.
Young writers often plan with a picture before they have the words. This layout keeps both on the same page: the illustration goes in the open space at the top and the sentences go on the wide lines below. Twelve millimetre spacing gives large, still-forming letters room to sit on the line, and the red margin marks where each line should start.
The front is printed in coral red with the layout spelled out in a band near the foot of the cover and a box holding Splash code 4427. The Note Group give the page size as 297 x 210mm.
