Spirax 163 is a large 335 x 240mm book of 64 pages on 70gsm paper, and its cover reads 24mm dotted thirds and plain.
A dotted thirds and plain book is the classic junior project format: a picture goes in the open space and the sentence about it goes on the wide guide lines. ACCO call the 163 a project book with 24mm ruling. They do not publish how the plain and ruled areas are laid out across the pages, so we have not described a layout. The 24mm spacing is wide enough for children still forming large letters.
ACCO list stapled binding, a side opening, no margin and no perforated sheets, and they mention a hounds tooth design on the cover. The front shows the number 163 and a cartoon turtle, with lines for name, subject and year.
