Middle Weight Film On The Narrowest Performance Roll
Protext NP9683 is a 15 metre roll of clear 80 micron self adhesive book cover, 300mm wide, from the Protext Performance 80 range.
Protext sell their covering film in three weights. Everyday is 50 micron, Premium is 100 micron, and Performance sits in the middle at 80 micron, a step up for books that spend the year being pushed in and out of school bags. The Note Group list this roll as clear and acid free.
Of the three Performance widths, 300mm is the narrowest. The same film also comes 450mm and 900mm wide, so a family or classroom can match the roll to the books on the list rather than trimming away a wide offcut from every cover. In photos from the maker, the backing paper is printed in blue with a grid, numbered scales and a fold and peel strip for marking out each piece.
