Ink is pulled directly into the barrel, which Pilot rates at around 1.5 ml, several times what a cartridge holds. The translucent black resin barrel lets you see how much is left at a glance. The nib is Pilot's large size 15 in 14K gold, engraved and tuned for a fine point that lays a crisp, controlled line for small handwriting and detailed notes.

Gold gives the nib a softness that steel cannot match, and the fine point rewards a relaxed hand. The screw cap seals the nib between sessions and posts securely for balance. It arrives in a presentation box with a bottle of Pilot INK-70 ink, so it is ready to fill and write on the day it is opened.

A pen for lawyers, executives and collectors who want capacity and craftsmanship in one piece.
