A Jotter That Carries a Piece of Paris
Parker 2221601 is the Paris pen from the Jotter Special Edition Global Icons series: a grey lacquered click ballpoint with a Paris-inspired pattern lasered into the barrel.
Parker took the soft grey tones of Parisian buildings and the patterns found on its monuments as the starting point, then laser-cut the design into the lacquer so the lines sit within the finish rather than on top of it. The cap and trims are stainless steel with chrome, and the Jotter click works exactly as it always has: press to write, press again to stow.
What sets this one apart from an everyday Jotter is the occasion. It comes in its own Paris gift box printed with the city skyline, which makes it a souvenir-style present for someone heading off on a trip, coming home from one, or simply fond of the city. Collectors of the Global Icons series can line it up with the other cities.
