MAX430S in Orange: Foam Fitted and Easy to Spot
An orange MAX430 shell with cubed pick and pluck foam below and a convoluted pad above, for kit that has to be found quickly on a boat deck, a work site or in a crowded vehicle.
Bright orange stands out against water, grass and grey equipment piles, which is why marine, rescue and field teams often colour code their cases. Interior space is 426 x 290 x 159 mm. Panaro line the base with 20 mm of flat foam, add two 40 mm cubed sheets you pluck to shape, and fit 45 mm of convoluted foam to the lid to hold the load down.
Outside, the case measures 464 x 366 x 176 mm. The two double throw latches, made of nylon, draw the lid down onto its O-ring seal, and an automatic valve evens out pressure after altitude or temperature changes.
