Empty MAX005 For Slim Tools And Spares
The MAX005V is Panaro's narrow MAX005 sold empty, a 0.28 kg hard shell for long, thin things that would get crushed or lost in a bag.
There is 292 x 92 x 65 mm of open space inside, 13.5 mm in the lid and 51.5 mm in the base, or 1.6 litres, and the shell is 309 x 128 x 71.5 mm outside. Without foam, you can drop in tools in a roll, a cable bundle or a stack of spare blades in their packet.
Its test result is IP52 under EN 60529 (Teslab report 252050A): dust-protected and resistant to dripping water. Panaro have not published an IP67 report for the MAX005, so do not count on it under water. A Panaro declaration also records MIL-STD-810G fungus and fluid contamination results for the MAX series materials.
If you want the contents held still, the same shell is sold with cubed foam as the MAX005S and with high density foam as the MAX005HDS.
Bigger empty shells are in the Panaro range. You may also like our defence case selection, first aid cases and other protective cases.
