Olympic 140856 is the No. 603 carbon book, a triplicate A4 book of 100 feint ruled leaves with a red cover marked with extra carbon.
Some paperwork needs to reach three places. A works order can go to the workshop and to accounts while the book keeps the third; an incident note can go to a manager and a client with a record left behind. A triplicate book produces all three together, so nobody retypes the entry and the versions cannot drift apart.
Hamelin Brands, the owner of Olympic, give the size as A4, 210 x 297mm, and describe the leaves as feint ruled. The cover art shows the top sheet with two tinted copy leaves behind it.
