Each card carries a moving image: slide it side to side and the process animates - light entering the eye, blood moving through arteries, veins and heart valves. It is a moire animation, and it works because the movement is under the child's control rather than on a screen.
Why this rather than a video. A video plays at its own speed and then stops. A card animates as slowly as a child wants, backwards as well as forwards, and it can go in a hand and be passed around a group. For processes where the sequence is the whole idea, that matters.
220 x 280mm - bigger than A4, so the detail is visible to a group holding one card between them.
A guide is included. The supplier does not list which ten body systems are covered beyond the eye and the circulatory examples they name, so ask us before ordering if you need a specific one.
