Marbig's Professional expanding file holds A4 paperwork in seven removable colour pockets, so a project can be lifted out of the file and handed over on its own.
The file is polypropylene with a bungee cord closure and reinforced gussets, which ACCO states are there to prevent tearing. Two notches in the body take a pen. The pockets are colour coded for reference and, unusually for an expanding file, they come out, so the file can be reset between jobs rather than refiled section by section. Six files come in the pack.
Removable pockets change how the file gets used. A fixed expanding file forces you to work inside it, while these let a live job travel as a single pocket and go back when it is done. The bungee closure holds a full file shut without a flap that creases.
