A Fixed Point To Lock A Laptop To
The Kensington Desk Mount Security Anchor (64613) gives a cable lock something solid to hold on to, fixed to the desk with mounting tape or one-way security screws.
A laptop cable lock is only as good as what it is looped around. Many modern desks have no exposed leg, rail or frame near the work area, so staff end up looping cables around something that lifts or slides. This anchor adds a dedicated point on the work surface itself, where users can reach it easily.
ACCO list two mounting options, both provided: industrial strength mounting tape, or two one-way security screws. ACCO describe the design as tamper resistant, with full steel construction to prevent cuts, and the grey base with its raised steel loop sits low on the desk.
A lock is not listed as part of this code, so pair the anchor with a Kensington cable lock. ACCO list a 5 year warranty.
Pair it with a lock from laptop locks and security, compare other security accessories, or view the Kensington range.
