Badge Size Pouches For Lanyards And Event Passes
GBC BL175M67X99 is a box of 100 gloss laminating pouches at 67 x 99mm, a size ACCO list as badge, in a thick 175 micron gauge.
The 67 x 99mm format is a touch larger than a bank card, which leaves room for a bigger photo, a name in large type and a role or access level underneath. That is why it turns up on conference passes, volunteer badges and visitor cards hung from a lanyard or clip.
A badge swings, twists and gets caught on things, so the heavier gauge earns its place. At 175 micron the sealed badge stays flat and firm, and ACCO describe the result as glossy and protected against tampering. The current box lists photos, arts and craft and ID as uses.
Remember the machine has to be rated for 175 micron. Compare sizes in small laminating pouches, the whole laminating pouches range and GBC machines and supplies.
