Model A Meadow Of Bees, Bake Them, Then Play
FIMO kids form and play Happy Bees, article 8034 27 LZ, is a boxed modelling set with four blocks of especially soft oven-bake clay and everything needed to build and play out a bee and flower scene.
Inside are 4 blocks of 42 g each in yellow, light green, pink and brown, plus cut out templates, a sticker sheet, a decorative playing surface, a modelling stick and step-by-step instructions. In Staedtler's words it is knead, harden, play. Kids shape the bees and flowers, the pieces are baked hard, and they then become toys on the meadow backdrop.
Staedtler's Australian catalogue recommends form and play sets for children 8+ years and describes the clay as extremely soft with a pleasant feel. A skill level indicator of 1 to 3 stars shows how tricky each project is, and the instructions are designed to keep and collect.
Finished models go into a kitchen oven for 30 minutes at 110°C, so an adult should look after that step. Staedtler state the set conforms to EN 71 and is made in Germany.
