It takes 32 sheets per pass through a 305 mm entry and cuts them to 4 x 30 mm cross cut pieces, still security level P-4 but a shorter particle than the 4 x 38 mm of the smaller Ci models. The continuous duty motor and a 114 litre bin let it work through big clear-outs, and the cabinet rolls on castors.

100% Jam Proof handles misfeeds and SafeSense stops the cutters when hands touch the paper entry. Sleep Mode shuts it down after two minutes idle. Credit cards, CDs, staples and paper clips are all on Fellowes' list. The warranty runs 2 years for the machine and 20 years for the cutters.

The 425/485 manual on this page shows how to fill and refill the oil reservoir.
