It has a steel point and a wooden handle that fills the palm when pushing through a thick wad, and measures 102mm long. Thread a length of tape through the eye, push the bodkin through the pages, and draw the tape out the other side ready to tie.

It keeps pages in a fixed order without a stapler or punch, which is why it lives on the desks of legal secretaries, paralegals and records clerks. Use a cutting mat or a pad of scrap card under the papers to protect the desk.

Pair it with Esselte legal tape, see other legal office supplies, paper fasteners and Esselte.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0863/5419/8784/files/Esselte_Lawyers_Bodkin_with_Eye_35142_1_Mega_Office_Supplies.jpg?v=1791399484
