One crayon that works three ways
Educational Colours First Creations Easi-Grip 3 in 1 Crayons Set of 12, supplier code FCEG31C12, are water-based crayons that First Creations says work as a crayon, an oil pastel or a water colour.
First Creations describes these crayons as brightly coloured and water-based. Children can use them like a standard crayon or an oil pastel, then go over what they have coloured with a wet paintbrush to turn it into a water colour. The supplier calls it the all in one crayon, and the set holds 12 colours in a plastic carry case.
Three ways of working from one set let children try drawing and painting effects without changing materials. Adding water with a brush changes the look of a finished picture, and the plastic carry case keeps all 12 colours together for storage and travel.
A wet paintbrush is all that is needed for the water colour effect, so keep one of the Easi-Grip brushes nearby for painting time. Explore craft crayons, oil pastels, drawing supplies and the Educational Colours range.
