Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils combine the precise control of a pencil with the fluid beauty of watercolour. Use them dry for smooth, blendable colour, or activate with water to create soft washes and flowing colour effects. Unlike permanent watercolour media, the colour remains re-wettable once dry, giving you the freedom to rework your artwork at any time.
Each pencil features a highly pigmented 3.5mm water-soluble strip set in hexagonal Californian incense cedar wood for easy handling and sharpening. This tin of 12 includes Deep Cadmium, Orange Chrome, Deep Vermilion, Crimson Lake, Imperial Purple, Spectrum Blue, Prussian Blue, Mineral Green, Grass Green, Golden Brown, Copper Beech, and Ivory Black.
