Derwent Graphitint pencils combine water-soluble graphite with a hint of soft, subtle colour pigment. Use them dry for a restrained tonal effect, then add water to unlock richer, more vibrant colour - two distinct results from a single pencil.

Each 8-ply round pencil carries a 4mm strip, making it well suited to broad strokes as well as finer detail when sharpened to a point. The barrel has a grey metallic stained finish with a colour-coded end dip and angled silver band. These pencils share the physical properties of an 8B water-soluble sketching pencil with the added dimension of coloured pigment.
