Derwent Academy Charcoal Pencils bring a contemporary edge to a traditional medium. Encased in wood for comfortable handling, these light-grade charcoal pencils give you precise control over your marks while preserving the expressive, atmospheric qualities that charcoal is known for - with far less mess than loose charcoal.
The broad, round barrel sits comfortably in the hand and allows fluid movement across the page. The fine-quality charcoal strip delivers extra-smooth performance, making these pencils a reliable choice for life studies, figure drawing, and tonal work. Sold as a box of 12 light-grade pencils.
