The Derwent Watercolour Pencil in Prussian Blue (colour 35) combines the precision of a pencil with the fluid qualities of watercolour. Use dry for soft, blendable colour, or apply water to activate the 3.5mm water-soluble strip and create smooth washes and colour flows. Unlike Inktense, watercolour pigment remains re-wettable once dry, so you can continue to move and blend colour on the page.
The hexagonal cedar wood barrel gives comfortable grip and control for detailed work. Highly pigmented for strong colour purity and light fastness, these pencils suit mixed media applications and are easy to sharpen. Supplied in a box of 6.
