Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils combine the precise control of a pencil with the fluid beauty of watercolour. The soft, smooth 3.5mm water-soluble strip works wet or dry, making these pencils ideal for painting, drawing, and mixed media work. Highly pigmented for strong colour purity and light fastness, each pencil features a hexagonal Californian incense cedar barrel for easy handling and sharpening.
Unlike permanent Inktense pencils, Derwent Watercolour delivers subtle, reworkable colour - once dry, you can re-wet and blend the pigment again. Use dry for soft layering, or activate with water to create flowing washes of magenta. Sold as a box of 6 pencils in colour 22 Magenta (AA32822).
