Derwent XL Graphite blocks are built for artists who work at scale. Each block measures 20 x 20mm square and 60mm long, making them ideal for bold mark-making, subtle blending, fine lines, and deep tonal work. The water-soluble graphite dissolves with water to open up even more expressive possibilities.

This box contains 4 tins, each tin holding 6 tinted graphite blocks in a coordinated colour range: Olive Green, Dark Prussian, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Soft Graphite, and Very Soft Graphite. The water-soluble colour leaves a distinctive silvery sheen, making these blocks well suited to bold landscape work and mixed-media applications.
