Derwent Inktense Pencils are a water-soluble pencil that works dry or with water. Add water and the colour transforms into a vibrant, ink-like finish. Once dry, the colour is fixed and permanent - ideal for layering and for use on fabric including silk and cotton.
The Mid Vermilion shade (0310) comes in a round, stained ink blue barrel with a colour dip end and metallic blue trim. The large colour strip makes it easy to apply smooth, bright colour or create expressive washes. Suited to illustrators, flower artists, and fashion designers.
