A full class set of twistable paint sticks
The Slicks by Zart Colour Classpack, supplier code CRZ262, holds 96 Slicks paint sticks, eight of each of 12 colours, for art rooms and classrooms that want paint without the water clean-up.
Zart describes Slicks as a super smooth, lipstick-like paint stick, and pitches them as an alternative to paint where access to water clean-up is not possible. They glide onto a variety of surfaces and give intense results, the supplier says. The pack holds eight sticks of each of the 12 colours.
Slicks use a twistable mechanism, so no sharpening is needed. Zart describes them as fast drying and washable. The supplier lists glass, paper, wood, fabric, Magiclay, canvas and polystyrene as surfaces, which lets one set move from painting on paper to decorating models and mixed surface projects.
With no sharpening and no water clean-up, Slicks suit busy shared art tables. Smaller Slicks packs and other colour sets sit in the Zart range, with more in craft paints, painting supplies and classroom supplies.
