Plastic spreaders that keep PVA off your good brushes
Zart Plastic Paste Spreaders Pack of 12, supplier code AA355, from The Creative School Supply Company, are 14mm x 118mm spreaders for PVA and impasto work.
The supplier describes these spreaders as suitable for impasto work and for spreading PVA. Using a spreader instead of a brush saves brushes from being ruined by glue. When glue dries on a spreader, the supplier says it simply peels off, ready for the next session. Each pack holds 12 spreaders.
Handing out spreaders for glue jobs leaves paint brushes for painting. A flat plastic blade suits thick applications such as impasto, and peel-off cleaning keeps wash-up simple at the end of a lesson. The supplier calls them a must for every art room.
Set a tray of spreaders beside the PVA. Peel the dried glue off at the end of the lesson and they are ready again. Browse craft adhesives, craft glues, painting supplies and more from Zart.
