The braked drive wheel shared by two Compass trolleys
Compass 722472DW is a grey braked drive wheel, and Weatherdon list this single code for two trolleys: the open front compact 722430 and the hard front 722472.
Weatherdon describe it simply as a drive wheel with brake for Compass housekeeping trolleys. Their close-up shows a grey tyred wheel on a metal bracket with a foot lever beside it, mounted under the trolley base. Two further photos show the trolleys it is listed for.
A brake that no longer holds is a real nuisance on a trolley parked outside a guest room, and a flat spotted tyre makes a loaded trolley hard to push. Because this one code is listed for both models, a site running a mix of 722430 and 722472 trolleys can keep a single spare on the shelf instead of two.
Weatherdon note that if it is out of stock with them, you should allow 4 months from the time of order, so a spare on hand is worth having. Order the 722472FW for the fixed position. Spare bags and dividers sit with the trolleys in Mop Buckets and Cleaning Carts, and Facility Supplies and Compass cover the rest.
