The High Yield Yellow Cartridge for Departmental Volumes
Brother TN851XLY is a genuine Brother yellow toner cartridge rated for approximately 9,000 pages declared in accordance with ISO IEC 19798, the standard colour laser test that lets one cartridge be compared fairly against another.
Brother lists this cartridge for three machines: the MFC-L9630CDN, MFC-L9670CDN and the HL-L9470CDN, the corporate colour laser range built for departmental print volumes. If your machine is not one of those three, this is not its cartridge; the model code inside the front cover is the safest check before ordering.
A declared yield is a laboratory figure produced under the ISO IEC 19798 colour test so cartridges can be compared like for like. Brother notes actual yield varies with coverage, so full colour pages drain a cartridge faster than documents with colour accents. If volumes are lighter, the TN851 standard versions at approximately 9,000 pages black and 6,500 colour cost less per cartridge; this high yield version wins on cost per page the more the machine prints.
The full genuine range is in Brother toner cartridges, replacement drums and other consumables sit in printing supplies, and every brand we stock is grouped under ink and toner.
