The Brother PA-BB-002 is the genuine battery base for the PT-P950NW networked industrial labeller, the mounting unit that accepts a rechargeable battery and frees the machine from a mains outlet.
The PT-P950NW is a serious labelling machine, and its natural home is wherever the labelling is: a switchboard, a comms rack, a production line, a plant room. What normally keeps it on a bench is the power lead. The battery base solves that, providing the fitting and connection a rechargeable pack needs so the labeller can be picked up and carried to the job.
Used with the PA-BT-4000LI lithium-ion battery, the base turns the PT-P950NW into a genuinely portable industrial labeller: full 36mm tape capability, all the templates and connectivity, and no cable.
