The adhesive is permanent, which is the thing to check before you buy. Avery states permanent for this code in the product name and in the specification. It bonds to glass, plastic and paper and is meant to stay, so it suits a container you are labelling once. If you relabel jars as their contents change, buy a removable label instead.
Avery describes the material as resistant to water and to hot and cold temperatures. They make no dishwasher, freezer or microwave claim for this code, so neither do we.
